It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.....

Our epic ride to the mythical place West Australians call 'Over East' starts tomorrow. Tadhg's back has given up, he can't ride and has had to pull out. Worse than that, he's sold the bike he bought for this adventure. Major bummer.

So, the plan has changed (again) and instead of freighting the bikes to Adelaide and flying there to start the ride, I'll ride east across the Nullarbor and decide later if I want to freight the bike back home from Adelaide.

Hit up Google maps to work out that to getting to the New South Wales western border will take 30 hours of riding across some of the dullest terrain in the country.
